Required documents
- Legalization request addressed to the mission
- Copy of the applicant's ID
- Original et copie du document à légaliser ou à certifier
- Pour une procuration : copies des pièces d'identification du mandant et du mandataire (numéros mentionnés dans la procuration)
- Pour une procuration sur héritage : jugement d'hérédité et certificat de non-opposition
- For a power of attorney concerning property, accounts or inheritance: the grantor must be physically present
- Pour une autorisation parentale : copie de la pièce d'identité sénégalaise du père ou tuteur et extrait de naissance sénégalais de l'enfant
- Pour une authentification : original du certificat d'authenticité délivré par l'autorité sénégalaise émettrice (aucune copie admise)
- Enveloppe préaffranchie pour le retour

- 2 Document and identity verification
- 3 For authentication: referral to the issuing Senegalese authority before delivery
- 4 Signature before the consular officer (if required)
- 5 Seal and stamp of the mission affixed
Documents issued by Senegalese authorities must first be legalized in Dakar by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before being presented to the mission.
